The
Piedmont Building, as we refer to it, is actually two buildings
(The Piedmont Electric Building and The Moskins Building) combined
in the
interior to create a new mixed-use community in historic downtown
Asheville. Located at 90 Patton Avenue across from Pritchard Park,
Piedmont is steps away from the areas outdoor cafes and many interesting
shops and galleries.
The
Penthouse Floor contains four condominiums with wonderful views
of
the mountains and the scenic downtown streetscapes. We installed
23
skylights and covered the existing airshafts with glass block bringing
the sunlight into these homes from all angles. Reflective lighting
from
soffits and recessed can lighting throughout the homes provide a
dramatic
evening lightshow. We used extensively, ceramic tile and Italian
Marble
to complement the glass block in all bathrooms, which contain Jacuzzi
tubs. All original hardwood floors and windows are carefully restored.
Please see our photo gallery for pictures of the interiors.
The
Third Floor contains six rental apartments. The apartments contain
the same features as the condos except Jaccuzi tubs and skylights.
All
Apartments have washer and dryers. Please see our photo gallery
for
interior pictures.
The
Second Floor (main level facing Patton Ave.) contains The Left
Bank
Restaurant (one of Asheville's finest fine dining restaurants) and
The
WineHous, Asheville's oldest fine wine merchants. Please see photo
gallery for interior pictures.
The
First Floor (fronting Commerce Street) has two commercial spaces
available for lease. See Piedmont floorplan for additional information
