Harry S. Pilos Mr. Pilos is the owner of Delphi Development LLC an investment and Real Estate Development Firm. He has developed from ground acquisition thru property management over $100 million in real estate products. His projects have included mixed-use “traditional neighborhood”, containing retail village, bank, family restaurant, single-family homes, Class A apartment community, condominiums and day care facility. Mr. Pilos redeveloped one city block of downtown property including a National Historic Register Building to develop a depressed district into retail/commercial and residential. Mr. Pilos was a member of the Sustainable Economic Development Council appointed by the Asheville City Council to create economic development plan for the city in 1999. He was Chairperson of the Committee for Street Art in Asheville and board member of Smart Growth Partners of WNC in 2000. Mr. Pilos was an annual guest lecturer for Fuqua School of Business, Duke University in Durham, NC and Real Estate Investment Analysis from 1992 until 1996. He was a member of the Joint Committee on Government, National Apartment Association in Washington, DC from 1991 until 1995. From 1985 until 2004 he was on the Advisory Committee to numerous North Carolina political campaigns. Mr. Pilos was recognized as a finalist of Entrepreneur of the Year Raleigh by the NC Chamber of Commerce in 1984 and a finalist of Business Leader of the Year in Asheville, NC in 2002. |
